Released after ARRI introduced the PL mount in 1982. Key updates included PL mount compatibility, improved housings, refined mechanics, and continued use of Zeiss T* multi-layer coatings. The 50mm and 85mm were optically redesigned to achieve T1.3 and improve consistency wide open. All other changes focused on mechanical improvements rather than optical redesigns that changed their classic look.
